Chamber PAC
Created in 1975, Chamber PAC is one of the oldest business political action committees in Illinois. Our mission is to promote and strive for improvement of Illinois government, encourage individuals to know their government, and assist them in organizing for more effective political action. Chamber PAC does not contribute to federal campaigns.
Chamber PAC is funded by donations from Illinois Chamber members and private citizens. Any individual or business may contribute — Chamber membership is not a prerequisite.
What your contribution funds
- Direct support for pro-business candidates in the races that decide the General Assembly and the Governor’s office.
- Voter education — voting records, candidate questionnaires, and get-out-the-vote and grassroots activity, so members and their employees can cast informed votes.
- Campaign expertise — technical assistance to campaigns in the districts that matter most in a given cycle, from staff who have run Illinois campaigns.
Improving Illinois Government
Elections in Illinois are expensive, and pro-business candidates need an ally. Chamber PAC is committed to improving Illinois government by helping elect leaders to the Governor’s mansion and the General Assembly who understand the need to grow our economy.
Political Education
Chamber PAC helps educate voters on where statewide candidates stand on the issues affecting Illinois’ economy, working with local chambers and members across the state.
Campaign Assistance
In the districts that matter most in a given cycle, Chamber staff provide technical assistance drawn from years of experience running Illinois campaigns — helping pro-business candidates reach the voters they need on Election Day.
