Business, labor groups ask for data center tax incentives
Business and labor groups are asking Gov. J.B. Pritzker and lawmakers to pass a bill giving tax incentives for data centers in Illinois, saying it could lead to more economic opportunities.
Michael Reever, vice president of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, said the potential to bring in billions of investment with data centers “is very real.”
