We are happy to welcome members who are here to get a first look at our newly redesigned site, and pleased to welcome first-time visitors as well.
The Illinois Chamber is the state's oldest, largest broad-based business advocacy group. When we say we are "THE unifying voice for business in Illinois," that truly is our reputation. We bring together members from every part of the state, every type of business or industry. Our members have diverse points of view on many issues, but most agree that Illinois' business climate can be improved when we work together.
Members receive so much value when they invest in the Illinois Chamber: expert staff guiding our policy development and advocacy, councils engaging members in specific business issues, products and services that no other association can offer, and opportunities to be involved in shaping our state's future.
I encourage you to meet our staff, our board of directors, chairman's council, and to look at each business issue council's activities. Those pieces plus our news archives, policies, and calendar should give a clear picture of what the Illinois Chamber is achieving for you.
