ILLINOIS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RELEASES NEW EMPLOYMENT LAW HANDBOOK

TO ASSIST ILLINOIS BUSINESSES

Springfield IL – The Illinois Employment Law Handbook, a valuable resource for Illinois businesses, is now available through the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, according to the Chamber’s Business Services Vice President Gloria Guy. The new publication provides 600 pages of easy-to-read text that explain everything employers need to know in order to stay in compliance with state and federal employment laws.

This new publication addresses the following in 22 chapters:

“The Illinois Employment Law Handbook is a valuable tool for businesses because it consolidates so much necessary information into one source,” said Michael Ayers, PhD, Executive Vice President of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. “It covers a host of issues that could arise during the business day and will help employers resolve or minimize problems that can distract managers and employees or interfere with a company’s bottom line.”

This book was written by a team of attorneys from the law firm of Wessels and Pautsch, PC in St. Charles, Ill., headed up by attorney Jeffrey A. Risch, Esq. Mr. Risch also serves as an instructor for the Illinois Chamber’s HR and compliance seminars, and on its HR Illinois Advisory Committee.
