The Illinois Chamber’s influential Councils bring together like minded people that share common business interests and work together on issues affecting their businesses and industries. Legislators, both on a state and federal level, increasingly turn to our Councils for advice and counsel. Key business leader often seek Council guidance on issues important to their industry. Council membership requires additional funding over and above general membership rates in order to provide resources to fund the extensive activities and advocacy of a Council.

Councils are not a classic “networking” venue but many Council members have benefited by high level business development as a result of their membership and involvement.
